THE MID CENTURY INTERIOR FURNISHING George Nelson, together with Charles & Ray Eames, was one of the founding fathers of American modernism. We like to think of George Nelson as "The Creator of Beautiful and Practical Things". 20th Century Designs by: Tobia Scarpa, George Nelson, Florence Knoll, Charles & Ray Eames, Arne Jacobsen, Alvar Aalto, Eero Saarinen, Roger Capron, Paul Mccobb, Overman, Steel Case, Gigeon Kramer, and Herman Miller. All of the seating has authentic Knoll Fabric. THE BAR AT BONGO The back bar unit is designed by the famous Danish interior architect, Poul Cadovius. He invented the "Royal" shelving system which enabled flexible furnishing using endless combinations of a limited set of standard elements. The Art Glass and Pottery is American, Italian, West German and Scandinavian from the 50’s and 60’s. All of the cocktails and food are served in, and on, vintage glasses, dishes, serving platters and flatware. Choose from the list of 30 killer cocktails. There’s something for everyone. Our menu specializes in the freshest seafood selection, a large selection of oysters, and our world famous lobster roll and amazing ipswich clams fried to perfection.
